Brain bleeding, broken bones and cuts are the terrible consequences of a conflict that only lasted for a moment.

At the center of the investigation is 22-year-old Marvin K. from Kiel, who has to answer to court for dangerous bodily harm. K. was with friends in the atrium when a harmless argument with two other men and a woman who later sacrifices broke out. In order to escape the conflict, K. and his companions fled into a car, but the attackers did not give up. A knife was pushed through the passenger window, just a few centimeters past K. In a desperate attempt to help his friends, K. finally decided to intervene.

The screams of the spectators can be heard in the background: "Oh God. Oh my god!" The two injured report about their terrible experiences: a 20-year-old could not chew for three months, while a 28-year-old struggles with a scar on his face and continuing headache.

Marvin K., a boxer with a criminal history, admitted his deeds and offered the victims. The court must now decide where the limits of emergency aid are. While the defense argues that K. acted in a state of fear and terror, the public prosecutor's office disagrees. K. was temporarily released from the pre -trial detention, but must appear again on Wednesday when the process continues.
