Thüringer Bogen: Diversity and tradition conquer the Green Week!

The upcoming highlight in the event calendar is the Green Week, which will take place in Berlin from January 17th to 26th. This trade fair is the largest and oldest event for food, agriculture and horticulture. This year, the Gotha district and the Ilm district have decided to present Thuringia as priority regions.

Onno Eckert, District Administrator of Gotha, emphasizes the special nature of this appearance, as two districts from Thuringia are represented together. These circles present their products under the brand concept Thüringer Bogen. Visitors can look forward to stands from the “Hörseltal” agricultural center, the Arnstadt city brewery and BORN Senf und Feinkost GmbH, which will be open throughout the entire trade fair.

Diverse program and attractions

From January 17th to 21st, Rosenhof Holzhausen, Schadinis (dumpling patties) and Otkuthür (clothing manufacturer) will also take part in the fair. From January 22nd, the Stiebling bakery, THÜROS GmbH and Zwergenstatt Gräfenroda will be represented at the stands. In addition, the hall is dominated by impressive five-meter-high models of the Three Equals, which not only invite you to marvel, but also offer climbing and sliding areas. These models symbolize the connection and cooperation between the Gotha district and the Ilm district.

A stage in the exhibition hall will offer a varied program, which will be opened by Prime Minister Mario Voigt on January 18th. In addition to the participants already mentioned, other districts and companies will also be presenting their products. The aim of the districts and companies is to attract new customers through the trade fair. Petra Enders, district administrator of the Ilm district, expresses the desire to attract people to Thuringia and to introduce them to the products, traditions and culture.

The Green Week also offers a cost-effective advertising campaign for exhibitors from the business sector. Funding from the Thüringer Bogen is available to participating companies. Tickets for the trade fair can be purchased both online and on site. The exhibitors with Thuringian products are located in Hall 20 at Messe Berlin.

The Thüringer Bogen brand, which represents the districts of Gotha and Ilm-Kreis, also offers an attractive living space for various target groups, including families, entrepreneurs, investors, schoolchildren, students and vacationers. Detailed information on the location, infrastructure, economic sectors as well as educational and employment opportunities can be found on the official website Thuringian arch to find.
