KitzSummit 2025: 170 decision-makers discuss future topics!

The third edition of KitzSummit took place from June 11th to 13th, 2025 in the picturesque chamois town of Kitzbühel. Over 170 international decision-makers and experts from the DACH region gathered under the motto “A look into the future”. Organizers Gabi Spiegelfeld and Christian Harisch put together a varied program that deals with current challenges and future trends.

The conference was dedicated to topics such as Europe's role in a changing world, innovative corporate strategies, start-ups and groundbreaking developments in medicine. These topics were highlighted in discussions and lectures by top-class speakers such as Claudius Senst from Axel Springer, Carsten Knobel from Henkel and Donata Hopfen, a successful entrepreneur. Patrick Deneen, an American political scientist, also contributed to the discussion. The conference was moderated by Nadja Mader.

Networking and exchange in focus

A central concern of KitzSummit 2025 was exchange across borders, as Gerald Resch, managing director of the banking association, emphasized. Michael Strugl, CEO of Verbund, emphasized the importance of proactively shaping the future. The conference also offered numerous opportunities for networking and exchange between participants.

The event was not only a platform for discussions, but also provided a broad thematic coverage, giving participants valuable insights into the future prospects of various industries. Gabi Spiegelfeld emphasized the value of a deep insight into the future and the diversity of the topics addressed.

Diverse supporting program

The KitzSummit 2025 supporting program included not only the conference itself, but also sporting activities, side events and informal networking opportunities. The organizers placed emphasis on an exclusive and carefully curated event that picks up on current trends and offers space for lively discussions. The photos from the conference are already available in a gallery and document the many engaging moments of the event.

The exchange of knowledge and experiences was also promoted through interviews with other personalities. These included Andreas Bierwirth, CEO of Avconjet, as well as Kathrin Zierhut-Kunz, managing director of ORF III and Karl-Heinz Götze, head of insolvencies at KSV1870.

The next important date in the event calendar for the DACH region is DTIM 2025, which will take place in Berlin from June 29th to July 1st. Leading experts from the areas of smart manufacturing, supply chain management and manufacturing execution systems are expected here. The aim is to offer valuable insights and solutions to current challenges in the industry, with a focus on exchanges with other leaders in the industry.

In summary, KitzSummit 2025 represented an important platform for the exchange of ideas and innovations. It remains to be seen how the topics discussed will develop in the future, but the impulses from Kitzbühel will certainly have an impact on the participants.
