Organic donations in Bavaria increase - hope for the needy is growing!

In Bavaria, the figures of the organ donation are almost up to date! An impressive increase has been recorded since the beginning of the year - a total of 370 organs were donated from January to September! This corresponds to a plus of remarkable 90 donations compared to the previous year. These statistical successes are a further confirmation of how important and valuable such life rescues are.

The Transplantation Center in Würzburg has only contributed a modest part to this increase. Only 51 donated organs have come together here since the beginning of the year - and therefore only one donor more than in the same period in the previous year. But the University Hospital Würzburg is combative and hopes for the introduction of the resolution. With this regulation, every citizen would automatically be considered an organ donor, unless he expressly contradicts lifetime. A real survival process for many!

Hope for more donors

The university hospital wants to significantly increase the donor potential with this measure. It is a call to solidarity: if you want to live yourself, you should also be ready to help others. While the number of organ donations in Bavaria generally increases, the challenge remains to sensitize people to this vital topic and to persuade themselves to actively participate. Each donated organ can change a human life in a decisive effect - and that is what counts in the end.
