Upper Palatinate receives 585,000 euros for social and cultural projects!

The Bavarian State Foundation has announced a generous financial injection for the Upper Palatinate! A total of an impressive 585,984 euros flow into the region to support social and cultural projects. It is particularly gratifying that the city of Weiden and the district of Neustadt/WN will also benefit from this funding.

The Catholic Church Foundation St. Emmeram in Windischeschenbach stands out among the funded projects. It receives a grant of 13,400 euros for the urgent repair of the roof structure of the St. Andreas side church in Püllersreuth. Another winner is the Burgtreswitz Castle in Moosbach, which is considered at 21,800 euros for the static repair and dehumidification of the historical building. Here the member of the state parliament Stephan Oetzinger (CSU) personally campaigned for the support.

funding for historical projects

But that's not all! In the city of Weiden, too, a private applicant can look forward to a funding of 2,500 euros. These funds are used for the renovation of a historical property on Schlörplatz. The support of these projects shows how important it is to preserve and promote cultural heritage and social infrastructure in the region.
