A shocking incident shook Bavaria on Thursday, October 31, 2024. A 67-year-old motorcyclist from Eurasburg was riding his Yamaha around 3 p.m. when the unthinkable happened. On the local road between Kreuzstrasse and Ottering he suddenly lost control and crashed into a bridge pillar with full force. What exactly led to this fateful moment remains a mystery and is now the subject of intensive police investigation.

First aid came too late

The tragedy of the accident is indescribable. Despite the quick reaction of the first aiders, who were on the scene immediately, the emergency doctor who was alerted could only determine that the biker was dead. A life that ended abruptly and the question of why this terrible accident happened remains up in the air. The Holzkirchen police station is now being supported by an expert to prepare a detailed accident report. The road was closed for around 2.5 hours while the volunteer fire departments from Otterfing, Hohendilching and Föching were deployed with 15 emergency services and four vehicles to secure the accident site and carry out the rescue work.

Investigators are determined to clarify the circumstances that led to this tragic incident. The search for answers has begun, and the hope of shedding light remains strong.
