Inclusive cultural festival in Zell: an experience for all senses!

Kulturfabrik Roth, Deutschland - Zell - An exciting event will be presented this Saturday in the Kulturfabrik in Roth, which is aimed at both the deaf and listening visitors. Under the title "Hands Up Zellkultur", the event promises a varied program that combines art and entertainment. It starts at 3 p.m. with the play "Knallpurga's journey to the moon". This children's program offers a fascinating mix of theater in sound and sign language.

The focus is on the characters: the witch Knallpurga, its broom Pilatuß Appsturtz and the cable car gardener. The piece is characterized by exciting flap artistics, rousing juggling and a captivating story that captivates the youngest spectators. Adults will not have less fun, while the entire text is presented in German sign language (DGS) and can also be heard in spoken language.

The program continues with full energy at 7 p.m. at the latest. The hip hop dancer open the evening and show an impressive choreography that they have rehearsed under the direction of Justin Strauß in the youth center Lüftn. In addition to other entertainment points, including sketches and gesture performances, there will be performances by artist groups such as the Franconia Deaf Show and Alex and Oli.

In addition, quilting dancers from the Artico Association from Neumarkt as well as the Zeller Handtheater and the Zeller sign choir will be amazed. The event is moderated by Adrian Gommez-Trüller and the pantomime Marcus Willam, a well-known personality within the deaf scene. In order to overcome the barriers to communication, sign language interpreters will be available that translate the performances of the deaf artists into spoken speakers.

From 2 p.m., interested parties can visit a special exhibition in the foyer of the cultural factory. This shows the creative results of the district -wide project "Traffic signs of justice", which was led by the concept artist Johannes Volkmann. Students from Schwanstetten, Büchenbach, Roth and Hilpoltstein have dealt intensively with topics such as environmental protection, tolerance, peace and equality.
