50 years of industrial engineering: TH Rosenheim celebrates success!
The 50th anniversary of the industrial engineering course was celebrated at the Rosenheim Technical University. Landtag President Ilse Aigner was a guest of honor at the festive celebration, which praised the impressive development of the course, which began with only 50 students and has now produced over 5,000 graduates. Dean Professor Dr. Andreas Doleschel emphasized the progress of the faculty, which undergoes a comprehensive change with a focus on digitization and sustainability. The successful start of the new real estate and facility management, which recorded over 60 registered students in the current winter semester, is also particularly gratifying.
University President Professor Heinrich Köster remembered the beginnings of the course, and former students shared their positive experiences with practical training. In her greeting, Aigner emphasized that the proportion of women in the course of 25 percent was gratifying, but more women would have to be won over for technical professions. She congratulated on the anniversary and spoke of the "magnificent development" of the course. A detailed report at www.samerbergernachrichten.de . . .
