The festive season has entered the Passauer Land! The first Christmas markets open their goals and invite you to a magical experience. In Bad Füssing, visitors can expect a spectacular "winter magic" in the festively decorated Kurwald next weekend. It will also be exciting in Rotthalmünster: Here the Nikolaus market takes place on the market square, where traditional handicrafts and culinary delights are waiting for the guests. A highlight will be the impressive light and laser show that will amaze visitors!

The ceremonial opening of the Bad Füssinger Winter Magic begins on Friday at 4 p.m. Mayor Tobias Kurz and spa and tourism manager Daniela Leipelt will herald the event, accompanied by the highly awaited Christ child. Musically it becomes atmospheric with Bavarian-Bohemian brass music from 4 to 6.30 p.m. From 7 p.m., the Perchten of the Rußtorfer Rottdeifen provide scary entertainment, followed by a rousing percussion experience with the duo "Double Drums" until 10 p.m. The market stalls can be visited on Saturday from 4 p.m., while the spa orchestra ensures a cozy atmosphere. Another musical highlight will be the "Milestones Quintet", which appears from 7.30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The Nikolaus market in Rotthalmünster also promises a colorful program. Mayor Günter Straußberger opens the market on Saturday at 5 p.m. Guests can look forward to Christmas music, dance performances and a Kasperltheater. On Sunday, Santa Claus is expected to distribute gifts to the children at 3 p.m. - an annual highlight that inspires the little ones! The entire weekend is accompanied by musical interludes from local schools and clubs that create a festive atmosphere.
