Serious traffic accident in Neu-Ulm: Three injured in frontal crash

A serious head-on collision in Neu-Ulm caused a stir on Tuesday afternoon. A 63-year-old woman drove her vehicle into the wrong lane of the European road for reasons that are still unclear, which ended fatally. Three people were injured in this dramatic accident, including two who suffered serious injuries.

The two occupants of the oncoming car, a 30-year-old and a 32-year-old, were trapped in their vehicle. The fire brigade arrived with the presence of mind to free the two of them from their predicament. The emergency services were quickly on site and all three injured people were immediately taken to clinics. The material damage caused by the accident is estimated at around 45,000 euros, and the European route had to be closed for more than three hours.

Another scandal: While the fire brigade and police were clarifying the facts on site, a driver passing by did not stop to pay attention, but instead took out his cell phone and took photos of the accident scene. The police intervened and stopped the man. Now he has to expect a fine of 100 euros and one point in Flensburg. Such behavior in the face of misfortune is simply incomprehensible!
