Up to two centimeters of fresh snow have fallen and the streets are dangerously smooth. However, commuters can breathe a sigh of relief: the Munich transport company (MVG) and the S-Bahn report no weather-related operating disorders. But in other parts of Bavaria the situation looks different!

The police urgently warns of smooth accidents, because in the area of ​​responsibility of the South/West police headquarters, there have been over 15 weather -related accidents! The road conditions are tense and drivers should be particularly careful. Despite the warning of Munich in the morning, the snow dynamics in Bavaria remains. Some regions in the south of Upper Bavaria are even classified in dark orange warning levels!

The weather forecast for Thursday does not promise any improvement: the DWD expects further snow showers, especially in the northeastern half of Bavaria and near the alpine. Slowing remains a constant companion. On Thursday morning it could even be sunny after the initial snowfall in parts of Bavaria, but in the evening new clouds move up and snow is expected again.

But not only in Bavaria the weather is unpredictable! In other parts of Germany, people are fighting for floods, fresh snow and gusts of wind. In North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate, some streams have already kicked over the banks, and the population is asked to avoid basement and underground garages. There are also warnings of hurricane gusts in Baden-Württemberg. Germany is facing uncomfortable weather, with rain and porridge thunderstorms in many regions!
