- Fahrbahnverengung: Der linke Fahrstreifen ist gesperrt, sodass die Fahrbahn auf einen einzigen Fahrstreifen verengt wird. Dies gilt für eine Länge von 2,9 km auf der B173 und B289, von Lichtenfels in Richtung Kronach, zwischen Lichtenfels und Michelau i. Ofr.
- Anschlussstellen: Zudem sind mehrere Einfahrten und Ausfahrten aufgrund der Bauarbeiten gesperrt. Umleitungen sind entsprechend ausgeschildert. Eine Umleitung an der Anschlussstelle zwischen Kronacher Straße und B173/B289 hat eine Länge von 290 m.
- Eine weitere Umleitung für die Krappenrother Straße ist ebenfalls nötig, zwischen Kronacher Straße und B173/B289, ebenfalls auf einer Länge von 499 m. Die Einschränkungen betreffen verschiedene Anschlussstellen in Oberwallenstadt und Lichtenfels.
