Löwen fans united: New era for Pfaffenhofen and Ingolstadt!

The will to change is often the first step towards more community-that was also the thought of the board members of the lion's heads in region 10 when they came together to found a new fan club region. On October 9, 2024, numerous representatives from the fan clubs met in the Gasthof Häußler in Langenbruck to fan community in Pfaffenhofen a.d. To restructure Ilm and Ingolstadt. This was done under the influence of the dissolution of the ARGE, which took place in August 2022, which means that fan care now fell under the responsibility of the KGAA of the TSV 1860

The meeting brought the desire to revitalize the fan landscape on site and network the fans. Nine fan clubs, including seven with voting rights, merged to discuss the necessary steps to revive their community. An important point of the meeting was the choice of leaders to control the upcoming work of the region.

keynights for founding

The active members of the meeting included the Löwenfanclub Pörnbach, the Löwenkralle Baar, the Scheyrer Löwen and others, all of whom united the passion for TSV 1860. Several positions were filled during the election. Marco Köchl from Löwenfanclub Pörnbach was elected regional spokesman, with Florian Wagner from the Lion Stammtisch Kasing and Thomas Graßl from the Scheyrer Löwen. The election took place under a provisional statutes that enables to be able to act quickly and to advance the newly founded association.

The newly structured region aims to better bundle the concerns and topics of the fans and make them responsive to everyone involved. Another aspect of the assembly was the invitation to further lion fan clubs from the area of Pfaffenhofen/Ingolstadt. In order to become part of this community, new clubs have to be members of the KGAA fan support, which is an additional requirement.

The new start -up comes at a time when the exchange among fans is of great importance and the mutual support is required. These steps to organize and network are crucial to strengthen the community of TSV supporters and promote common interests. Jamie Jesse, the new fan supervisor, will also play a central role in these efforts after replacing Felix Hiller. So a fresh wind is guaranteed.

A clear call to the community was the final act of the meeting: The newly founded fan region should offer a platform that not only supports the existing clubs, but also welcomes new members. The fan landscape of the TSV 1860 has the potential to gain dynamics and cohesion through this initiative.
