Ingolstadt/Döbeln. A heartbeat finale of extra class! The UHC Döbeln lost 8: 7 after extra time in a gripping game against the Schanzer Ducks. Despite the defeat, the UHC was able to take a point home. "Ingolstadt is not a walk-in customer, even if the Schanzer Ducks are the last," said UHC chairman Ingolf Thoß and referred to the missing four regulars who heavily burdened the team.

The Döbelner started the game strongly and led 3-1 after the first third, thanks to the gates of Elias Handschack (2) and clamp.
