Freising city tour: Children discover the city with Rosi!
A wet cold autumn day in Freising becomes an exciting adventure for a group of children and adolescents from Lebenshilfe Freising. Under the protective lilac -colored umbrella of the city guide Rosi Strasser, the young explorers gather in front of the town hall, ready for a one and a half hour exploration tour through the city. Despite the cloudy weather, the children's faces shine with anticipation - a rejection due to the rain was out of the question for them!
"I am the Rosi", the city guide introduces herself, and the children are immediately enthusiastic. You learn playfully about the history of Freising while stopping at the statue of Saint Georg. "He killed a kite!" Calls a child enthusiastically. Rosi tells of the powder of the St. Georgs tower, who once had to climb 220 steps to do his work. The children listen banned when they learn that the watchman was often at the host instead of waking up over the city. A phone for the watchman? A real progress!
discoveries on the Moosach
A highlight of the tour is the detour to the Moosach, where the children discover a small bronze mouse. "Someone hid here!" Rosi calls and the excitement is great. Max is the first to find the mouse and the group explores the surroundings. In the meantime, the supervisors make sure that all children, including a friend in a wheelchair, are well integrated and nobody stays behind.
In the church it becomes quiet when the children discover the holy water pool. Questions about faith become loud, and Rosi patiently explains that it is a sign of faith. The group finally visits the city model, where the children demonstrate their knowledge of the city. "I liked everything!" Calls a child enthusiastically while saying goodbye to Rosi and receiving colorful stickers as a memory. Rosi has conquered the hearts of the children in the storm - and theirs!
