TSV Ebersberg has been crowned the ultimate champions of District League 3! Just 40 hours after their brilliant 2-0 win against Pframmern, the Ebersbergers showed a real football treat and swept the Oberföhring team off the pitch with an impressive 5-0. The Gladiators under coach Michael Hieber thrilled the spectators with a refreshing performance!

“That was perhaps our greatest achievement of the season,” enthused Hieber as he looked proudly at his team. Despite the injury problems, the coach only had to make a single change to the starting line-up, which did not slow down the winning momentum. Moritz Eglseder laid the foundation for victory with a penalty in the 24th minute and the fans were over the moon! In the second half, David Volkmann delivered the next highlight with his goal in the 60th minute, when his shot landed unstoppable in the net with some help from the opposing goalkeeper.

A game full of drama!

The turning point came in the 70th minute: a sending off for the guests played directly into TSV Ebersberg's hands. Hieber noticed the physical exhaustion of his players, but the numerical advantage brought a breath of fresh air! Eglseder, who was in top form today, scored his second goal in the 75th minute. Felix Hoppe and Manuel Markio finished off the game with their goals in the 85th and 88th minutes, which made the 5-0 home win perfect. Ebersberg cheers, the fans are thrilled - this victory will be remembered for a long time!
