Young people vandalize a café – witness urgently wanted!
There was an incident in Bamberg on Saturday evening in which the window of a café on Austraße was broken by two young people. The damage amounts to around 1,000 euros. The perpetrators were caught by a police patrol in the area. The police are also looking for witnesses, particularly a woman who saw the crime and spoke to a waitress. Anyone who can provide information is asked to contact the Bamberg city police station Wiesentbote reported.
On the same Saturday morning, a violent incident occurred in a discotheque: a 22-year-old tried to break up a dispute between two men aged 20 and 23, but was punched several times in the face and suffered an injury under his left eye. The alcohol content of everyone involved was between 1.82 and 2.04 per mille, which may have contributed to the aggressive argument.
Racist insult in Dresden
On December 19th, in Dresden-Reick, a 45-year-old woman was the victim of a racist attack by a 45-year-old man who insulted her on a tram and poured beer over her. There was an attempted hit, then the woman alerted the police, who were able to arrest the suspect in front of a shop. The incidents lead to investigations into sedition and insults Saxony Police.
In addition, several younger people in Dresden-Löbtau suffered problems with the police in the same week when 14 officers intervened in a bar based on information about underage drinking and handed them over to their legal guardians. This shows that the police are actively taking action against violations of the Youth Protection Act.
