On January 6, 2025, an exciting U12 hall tournament is scheduled in the Gellingshalle in Fulda, which is organized by SG Baroque city. The tournament begins at 11 a.m. and ends with the final, which is planned at 5:26 p.m. This year the "Champions Cup" for U12 teams will be organized for the first time.

Florian Wotzlaw, coach of the D2 juniors, noted that there are not many tournament opportunities in this age group. Due to the high demand, the field of participants was expanded from originally eight to ten teams. In this competition, teams of SG Barockstadt (three teams), Eintracht Frankfurt, FSV Mainz 05, Darmstadt 98, Hesse Kassel, KSV Baunatal, SG Bruchköbel and Viktoria Aschaffenburg will be there. The teams are divided into two groups of four before the knockout phase begins from the quarter-finals. Entry to this event is free. In addition to the tournament in Fulda, the Gelita U12 Cup took place on December 2 in the Hohenstaufen sports hall in Eberbach. This event was organized by the Eberbacher Sport Club (ESC) and started at 9 a.m. with the award ceremony around 6:15 p.m. 14 teams competed here, including youth teams from eight Bundesliga clubs, such as TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, VfB Stuttgart, 1. FC Kaiserslautern, FSV Mainz 05 and Eintracht Frankfurt.

The participants were divided into two groups with seven teams each. Mayor Peter Reichert was the patron of the event. On the following Sunday, a U11 Cup also took place from 9 a.m., in which CFR Pforzheim, SSV Reutlingen, Astoria Walldorf and the domestic teams of the ESC took part.
