Armed attack in Ansbach: Police are looking for witnesses!

An armed robbery at a clothing store occurred in Ansbach on Saturday evening. At around 7 p.m., five to six masked perpetrators entered the H&M branch on Martin-Luther-Platz and demanded money from the employees while pointing a firearm. A shot was fired during the attack, which was probably fired from a blank gun. A store employee suffered minor injuries while the perpetrators fled without any loot.

The Ansbach police station reacted immediately and initiated a search with numerous patrol cars and a police helicopter. Despite intensive search measures, the perpetrators remained on the run and no concrete successes in the investigation have been recorded so far. Since the perpetrators were masked, the police do not have any precise descriptions. The police are asking witnesses for help; In particular, customers who left the store during the robbery are asked to come forward.
