Part-time study: How to make management successful!

The Ansbach State University offers an attractive opportunity for professional development in the “Strategic Management” course. Those interested can take part in an online information event on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in which the study process will be presented. The head of the program is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Slama. The event will take place via Zoom and the access details will be available after registrationsma@hs-ansbach.desent by email.

The location of the study program is the modernly equipped campus in Weißenburg. A special feature of part-time studies is the flexibility for students: they have the opportunity to continue working full-time, which means their income remains secure. The lectures take place in three blocks per semester, from Wednesday to Saturday. Students who have already completed further training (technical economist, business economist, master craftsman or technician) can shorten their study period from 11 to 6 semesters of attendance.

Admission and recognition of study achievements

Admission to the course is possible both with and without a high school diploma. If you want to study without a high school diploma, you need a professional qualification through in-company training and three years of professional experience. The bachelor's program consists of eleven semesters, with up to three semesters being credited based on skills acquired outside of the university. This credit applies to the business, scientific, legal and human resources fundamentals of the first three semesters, including the practical semester. Ideally, the duration of study can be shortened to six semesters (three years).

The study program for the winter semester 2024/25 is free of admission and enrollment was possible until July 15, although an extension of the application period can be considered. Further information about the course can be found on the Ansbach University websitewww.hs-ansbach.de/sma.

If you have any questions, Gabriele Walloschke, course assistant, is available on 09141 874669-304 or by email (gabriele.walloschke@hs-ansbach.de). The address of the university is Richard-Stücklen-Straße 39, 91781 Weißenburg.
