Seebach triumphs 5-0 in Bad Kötzting – Deggendorf in referee chaos!
A football Saturday in a class of its own! Things really got going in the Central Regional League on matchday 19. While TSV Seebach thrilled the spectators with an impressive 5-0 win against Bad Kötzting, the game between SpVgg Grün-Weiß Deggendorf and FC Amberg caused a lot of excitement. A total of 18 goals were scored in five games that day, but the strange scenes in Deggendorf stole the show!
Referee Fabian Hegener had his hands full and handed out a red card and four time penalties - and all in Amberg's favor! Andreas Schäfer, Deggendorf's sporting director, gave vent to his displeasure: "A wild game with an absolutely one-sided refereeing performance, which unfortunately has to be addressed so harshly today!" The Deggendorfers were clearly the better team in the first half, but after the penalties Amberg was able to equalize and thus secured a point.
Seebach shines with a landslide victory
In contrast, TSV Seebach's performance was a true football festival! Player-coach Sandro Nickl praised his team's compact defense and aggressive pressing: "The requirement was to stay compact at the back and attack the opponent at the front. We implemented that well and deservedly scored five goals!" A victory that underlined the team's ambitions and made the fans cheer.
Benjamin Urban, coach of SC Luhe-Wildenau, was also happy with the way his game went, which he won 4-2 against SpVgg Lam. “An absolutely deserved victory, even at a high level,” he summed up after the game. Meanwhile, Dingolfing and Ettmannsdorf continue to march in step in the table. The excitement in the Central Regional League is rising and the fans can look forward to the next exciting games!
