Desired list: This is how children's dreams in Ulm come true!
Ulm, Deutschland - The Christmas season is approaching and the Ulm/Donau-Diller children's foundation has launched an exciting wish list campaign! Over 300 children from the region have already written down their heart's wishes, who are now waiting to be fulfilled in various Ulm cafés. This initiative aims to help disadvantaged families who live on the poverty line and often have difficulty gifting their children.
The children can express a request worth up to 20 euros. The wish lists are designed in participating cafes and companies, where generous café visitors and employees can get the gifts and bring back packed by the end of November. The packed packages are then collected by the children's foundation and her committed helper Anna Sonntag. The participating cafés include Café Miss Berger, Café Gustaff and the Museum Café Lebenshilfe.
background of the action
The Children's Foundation Ulm/Donau-Diller is actively committed to the equal opportunities of children. Family poverty is often passed on from generation to generation, which strongly influences the development of the children. The foundation, founded in 2013 by a sibling couple, wants to break through this cycle and offers support, role models and courage for the affected children. The Caritas Ulm-Alb-Donau region is a co-founder and takes over the management of the foundation.
This action is not only an opportunity to give joy, but also an important step to raise awareness of the challenges of families in the region. Everyone can help by fulfilling a wish list and putting a smile on a child's face!
