Wish list campaign: This is how children's dreams come true in Ulm!

The Christmas season is approaching and the Ulm/Donau-Iller Children's Foundation has launched an exciting wish list campaign! Over 300 children from the region have already written down their heartfelt wishes, which are now waiting to be fulfilled in various Ulm cafés. This initiative aims to help disadvantaged families who live on the poverty line and often have difficulty giving gifts to their children.

The children can make a wish worth up to 20 euros. The wish lists are displayed in participating cafés and companies, where generous café visitors and employees can purchase the gifts and bring them back wrapped by the end of November. The collected packages are then collected by the children's foundation and its dedicated helper Anna Sonntag. The participating cafés include Café Fräulein Berger, Café Gustaff and the Museum Café Lebenshilfe.

Background of the action

The Ulm/Donau-Iller Children's Foundation is actively committed to equal opportunities for children. Family poverty is often passed on from generation to generation, which has a major impact on children's development. The foundation, founded in 2013 by a pair of siblings, wants to break this cycle and offers support, role models and courage for the children affected. The Caritas Ulm-Alb-Donau region is co-founder and takes over the management of the foundation.

This campaign is not only an opportunity to spread joy, but also an important step in raising awareness of the challenges faced by families in the region. Everyone can help by fulfilling a wish list and putting a smile on a child's face!
