Tuttlingen is celebrating: New Pizza Collective” is opening soon in the city!
A new gastronomic highlight sees the light of day in Tuttlingen! The “Pizza Collective Tuttlingen” is being built on Rathausstrasse in the former premises of a hairdresser. The first days of November promise big news, but specific opening dates are still unclear. Owner Madeleine Mussgnug, who recently returned from Frankfurt, and Maximilian Kinzel, who recently moved to Tuttlingen, are looking forward to the celebrations soon.
The two entrepreneurs have transformed their shared passion for Neapolitan pizza into a new concept. “We often had pizza parties together,” reports Mussgnug. Kinzel, who has a high-quality pizza oven, passionately experiments with the ideal dough. “The dough has to rest for at least 24 hours,” he explains. Up to now there were only a few places in Tuttlingen that offered this special style of pizza - that should now change!
Reopening with Italian flair
In a bold decision to promote the strengths of their hometown, the duo has resolutely left the urban scene behind. With the support of Tuttlingen interior designer Margrit Marquardt, the restaurant is now being designed to be modern and attractive. Mussgnug, who works in international management and tourism, contributed her marketing knowledge, while Kinzel, as an independent management consultant, does strategic planning.
In order to refine the culinary offering, they brought Marco Pocaterra on board as head chef. The experienced Italian will create twelve special pizzas, including classics such as Pizza Margherita and Pizza Marinara. In order to bake the perfect pizza, a pizza oven was specially imported from Italy. In addition to pizza, the diverse menu will also include Italian starters, anti-pasti, salads and desserts. The “Pizza Collective” is open Tuesday to Saturday from 5 p.m. So if you want to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, you should definitely stop by!
