An exciting event in Stuttgart! The state capital launched the “Stuttgart Klimakantin” competition, endowed with 50,000 euros for the first time, and the tension was tangible. The jury, consisting of experts from the Hotel and Restaurant Association Dehoga Baden-Württemberg, the Health Department, Slow Food Stuttgart and other institutions, unanimously selected the LBBW operating restaurant. The Stuttgart town council followed this proposal without hesitation!

What makes the LBBW canteen so special? The jury praised the impressive sustainability that is lived in every facet of the company. From the use of regional products to the processing of food with "organic seal" to the use of electricity from renewable energies-environmental protection is very important here! In addition, the canteen stands out through its transparent communication about sustainability, the training offers for employees and an innovative system for supplying employees in the home office, which is also focused on sustainability.

The “Stuttgart Klimakantin” competition was open to all business catering in Stuttgart, including company restaurants, business catering, canteens and canteen. The only exception were urban gastronomies.
