Art in dialogue: Waldemar Zimbelmann’s Dissolving hands” in the A.K.T;
A fascinating art event is coming! The exhibition “Dissolving hands” by the talented Waldemar Zimbelmann will open in Pforzheim from November 22, 2024 to January 26, 2025. The Kazakhstan-born artist, who came into the world in the 1980s, brings his powerful works that combine personal experiences with literary and political themes to the city. This exhibition promises to take visitors on an emotional journey that raises questions about family and interpersonal relationships.
The opening will take place on November 21, 2024, and guests can look forward to an exciting discussion between Zimbelmann and Janusz Czech, the artistic director of the A.K.T. Zimbelmann's works are not only visual masterpieces, but also profound reflections on the human experience. His technique of scratching, scoring and scraping gives his images a special dynamic and invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the imaginary worlds he creates.
Opening times and special events
The exhibition is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The finissage on January 26, 2025 will be another highlight, where Zimbelmann will talk to Luisa Heese, the curator of contemporary art at the Kunsthalle Mannheim.
