Paul Wanner, a 19-year-old talented football player, decided to continue his career at 1. FC Heidenheim after playing in the second division at SV Elversberg. In January 2022, Wanner was appointed to the first team by Julian Nagelsmann and gave his professional debut in the Bundesliga on January 7, 2022 against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

At only 16 years and 15 days, he became the youngest player in the history of Bayern Munich and the second youngest in the Bundesliga.
