Heart-stopping finale! WILD BOYS celebrate a thrilling derby victory in Bietigheim

The WILD BOYS triumphed for the second time this season in a thrilling derby on Monday evening. After fighting against FRESH UP! After Göppingen won, they continued their successful streak and defeated SG BBM Bietigheim with 29:30 in the EgeTrans Arena. However, the start of the game was anything but promising as Bietigheim playmaker Tom Wolf was injured right at the start.

An exciting duel

The first goal of the game came from Gonzalo Perez Arce, who scored a penalty. But the home team was able to play to their strengths at the start of the game and were soon ahead 12:6. An early deficit that forced coach Jürgen Schweikardt to take a time out. This measure helped because TVB found its way into the game better and reduced the deficit to 14:15 at halftime. The second half began with a tie and an exciting duel for every point developed that captivated the spectators until the last second.

Kai Häfner and Daniel Fernández in particular proved to be crucial players in the game. Häfner took responsibility in the second half and scored numerous goals with brilliant moves. Seconds before the end of the game, it was Lenny Rubin who secured the final victory for the WILD BOYS with a throw. The historic rivalries between the teams in the Handball Bundesliga, to which TVB Stuttgart has been a member since its founding in 1898, were once again impressively visible. This strong performance gives the fans hope for a successful season in which TVB Stuttgart wants to continue to prove its strengths in the Porsche Arena Wikipedia shows.
