54 percent of Germans are calling for early elections!

Cologne (ots) - The political mood in Germany is simmering: A breathtaking survey shows that just over one in two people, exactly 54 percent, are calling for early elections! The planned date of the federal election on September 28, 2025 is questioned by the majority of the population. This explosive survey by infratest dimap was carried out between Monday and Wednesday of this week among 1,333 citizens eligible to vote and reveals a clear dissatisfaction with the current federal government made up of the SPD, Greens and FDP.

The fronts are clear: While the supporters of the traffic light coalition - 77 percent of the SPD and 76 percent of the Greens - advocate a continuation of the government, the voices against them are enviably loud. Even 93 percent of AfD supporters see the need for a quick change, followed by 75 percent of the BSW and 69 percent of the Union. The discontent is palpable - with only 14 percent satisfied with the government, satisfaction is falling to a worrying record low.

The numbers speak for themselves

But that's not all: Only 23 percent of those surveyed believe that a possible CDU/CSU-led government will provide a better solution to Germany's challenges. This reflects deep distrust and skepticism, while 16 percent even believe it could lead to even worse performance. An overwhelming majority are worried about the political future and feel let down by the current leadership.

This survey could set the course for future political decisions. The pressure on the government is growing and the voters are demanding change! In any case, they loudly demand their will: They want their voices to be heard!
