Ramsperger Automobile: return of motorcycles and new brands on offer!

Ramsperger Automobile, a dealership that has been active for almost 75 years, has adapted its business model and now offers an expanded range of brands. Managing director Frank Eberhart emphasizes that the company is open to new brands. With the introduction of Seat and Cupra in the portfolio, Ramsperger Automobile is demonstrating a clear strategy for diversification. The company added the Italian motorcycle electric brand Energica to its range three years ago, but the company has since filed for bankruptcy. The main focus of the car dealership continues to be the sale of cars and vans, with all of the VW Group's volume brands represented. Despite the cooperation with Stellantis for the sale of Jeep vehicles, this will end at the end of 2024 for reasons of the model portfolio and increased prices. Eberhart explains that customers no longer accept the high prices.

Return to the motorcycle business

Despite Energica's bankruptcy, Ramsperger Automobile is now returning to the motorcycle business. The northern Italian brand's powerful electric motorcycles are now being presented in the showroom in Nürtingen. These motorcycles offer strengths such as up to 107 kW of power and a maximum torque of 215 Nm. The acceleration is particularly noteworthy: the sprint from zero to 100 km/h takes just 2.6 seconds. The urban range of the models is up to 400 kilometers per charge, while around 230 kilometers can be achieved with sporty driving. Energica stands out through its focus on electric drives in motorcycle construction and currently offers the “Ego”, “Ribelle” and “Eva EsseEsse” models. The company positions itself in the premium segment with the largest batteries, the longest range, most powerful motors and a well-thought-out design.
