At the World of Samsung 2025 event on April 3, 2025, Samsung showcased innovative advances in artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the daily lives of its customers. A central theme was the vision of making AI available as an everyday companion in every home. The presentation was opened by Jong-Hee (JH) Han, CEO of Samsung's Device eXperience (DX) Division, who presented the roadmap for highly personalized AI services across connected devices. oe24 reports that Samsung has invested heavily in smart home technologies in recent years.
The new products include a variety of TV models: the Neo QLED, OLED and QLED in sizes from 24 to 115 inches. These models feature AI-Picture Optimizer, which optimizes brightness and contrast in real time, and Q-Symphony technology, which combines up to three devices for an immersive sound experience. In addition, 3,000 works of art are available in the expanded Art Store, offering users an individual television experience.
Gaming and smartphone innovations
Samsung has also expanded its product range in the gaming sector. The Odyssey OLED G8 with 27 inches and 4K resolution and the Curved Odyssey G9 with 49 inches and a response time of just 1 ms set new standards. An AI auto game mode also ensures an improved gaming experience.
The new Galaxy S25 smartphone series offers features such as Live Translate and Generative Edit. SmartThings Home Insight gives users greater control over various aspects of their home and helps monitor pets and energy consumption.
Another important aspect of the event was AI energy saving mode in smart home technologies. This mode optimizes power consumption by encouraging users to use devices during off-peak times. Samsung News highlights how SmartThings, as a platform for intelligent connectivity, provides millions of users with an improved user experience.
Innovation and security
The integration of security and privacy is also at the heart of Samsung's strategy. With Knox Matrix introduce, Samsung offers an approach to device security through blockchain technology that enables simplified security management. At the same time, the One UI user interface improves interoperability and supports AI-based functions with software updates for up to seven years.
Other outstanding products include the new Galaxy Book5 Pro and Galaxy Book5 360 models, which are equipped with Intel® Core™ Ultra processors and are ideal for productive work. Samsung also aims to use its AI technologies to help users monitor their health with devices such as the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch.
The company also promotes young talent with projects such as “Samsung Solve for Tomorrow” and the “Samsung Innovation Campus” and works on global goals in partnership with the UNDP. These initiatives underscore Samsung's commitment to not only innovate technology, but also to create positive social change.
