Infomaniak, a Swiss cloud provider, introduced email encryption free of charge for all users on June 17, 2025. This feature enables around 3 million users to protect sensitive data via Infomaniak Mail's web interface by sending encrypted emails when sent. The introduction is particularly important because emails often convey sensitive information, such as health data or financial information.
