Repair instead of throwing away: new funding program for sustainability!
Fulda, Deutschland - The Bundestag member Bettina Müller recently pointed out sustainable development and cultural support in two important initiatives. In the fight against the throw-away company, the SPD started a new Repair funding program . Every year, around five million tons of electronics are incurred in the EU, which underlines the need to repair defective devices more often instead of replacing them immediately. Non -profit initiatives can receive up to 3,000 euros in funding to support repair services and measures. The program runs until the beginning of 2026 and is intended to promote long -lasting consumption.

The grants cover 50 percent of the total costs of 16 million euros for modernization. Müller emphasizes the importance of volunteering organizations for population protection and the role of the museum as the Center for Education and Education. These initiatives show the clear course of the federal government to strengthen environmental protection and cultural identity of the regions.
