Family fun: discover eleven museums in Lower Austria for just ten euros!

The “Museum10: Discover – Marvel – Experience” campaign starts in Lower Austria on March 31, 2025, allowing families to visit eleven museums for an entrance fee of just ten euros. This initiative is aimed specifically at holders of the Lower Austrian Family Pass and was created to make art and cultural offerings affordable for families. Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner highlighted the diversity of Lower Austria's museum landscape and emphasized the importance of interactive participatory offers, which are particularly well received by children and young people.

The participating museums include a variety of institutions, including the newly invited **KinderKunstLabor** in St. Pölten, the **Egon Schiele Museum**, the **Museums of the Krems Art Mile**, the **MAMUZ Schloss Asparn/Zaya**, the **MAMUZ Museum Mistelbach**, the **Museum Niederösterreich**, the **Weinviertel Museum Village Niedersulz**, the **Roman city of Carnuntum** and the **Schallaburg**. Holders of the Lower Austria Family Pass have the opportunity to use the reduced admission for themselves and a companion, as well as unlimited admission for children up to 18 years of age, several times a year in each of these museums.

Diversity and promotion of cultural education

The “Museum10” campaign has enjoyed great popularity since its launch seven years ago and is aimed at a broad target group. The participating museums welcome the opportunity to invite families and bring them closer to cultural education. Regional Family Councilor Christiane Teschl-Hofmeister thanked the museums involved and emphasized the importance of this initiative for cultural participation.

The Lower Austria Family Pass also offers numerous discounts and some free offers at over 500 partner companies for around 200,000 pass holders.
