A very special gift for all home lovers! The 2025 anniversary calendar is now available in the Neuss and Grevenbroich district houses. On the occasion of the upcoming district anniversary under the motto “Pictures of home from 50 years of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss”, this calendar is being offered for the price of just three euros. It contains the best images from the Neuss Rhine district photo competition and invites you to immerse yourself in the fascinating history of the region.
District Administrator Hans-Jürgen Petrauschke and district spokesman Benjamin Josephs presented the calendar with enthusiasm. “We took our big birthday as an opportunity to leaf through old photo albums together with the citizens and look for interesting impressions from the last five decades,” said Petrauschke. The calendar shows impressive motifs, including historical photos of the Bayer plant in Dormagen, the Garzweiler opencast mine and the construction of the Fleher Bridge. The leisure opportunities are not neglected either: pictures of sailing boats on Lake Kaarster and the shooting festival in Meerbusch-Büderich show the diversity of the Rhine district of Neuss.
