Future of the craft: 531 jubilee craftsmen honored in Ulm!
On January 10, 2025, numerous craftsmen were honored in the Ulm region for their long -term merits in the craft. The Chamber of Crafts Ulm brought together a total of 531 jubilees, which celebrated operating and championship anniversaries. Dr. Tobias Mehlich, General Manager of the Chamber of Crafts Ulm, spoke about the essential role during the ceremony that craft businesses play for regional care, be it through repairs, bakery or installation of heating and photovoltaic systems.
in the region that extends from Ostalb to Lake Constance are more than 120,000 people in the craft. There are currently around 8,000 trainees and over 20,000 craft businesses. In 2024, 204 craft businesses were recognized for their long -term and successful work. The celebrations included anniversaries in various districts, including:
- 25 in the Alb-Donau-Kreis
- 21 in the district of Biberach
- 16 in the Ulm urban area
- 14 in the district of Heidenheim
- 52 in the Ostalbkreis
- 26 in the Lake Constance district
- 50 in the district of Ravensburg
Master letters and honors for long -term engagements
As part of the event, 327 craftsmen received master certificates that were awarded in different categories: silver for 25 years, gold for 50 years and diamond for 60 years of handicraft work. Mehlich emphasized the importance of the masters as an ambassador and trainer of the craft, which are crucial for the competitiveness and sustainable success of the companies.
In addition to the honor of the jubilees, the possibility was also pointed out, the Ulm Crafts Chamber offers free documents for anniversaries and master certificates, as reported on hwk-ulm.de For example, Sabine Bergmann-Gaugler received the silver master's certificate for 25 years of engagement in the craft. Nusser Zerspantechnik GmbH from Nellingen celebrated its 50th anniversary, and Managing Director Rainer Nusser was awarded a certificate for his decades of passion for the craft.
