Craftsman bonus: Secure important funding by the end of February!

Steiermark, Österreich - The craftsman bonus is extremely popular in Austria and thus creates urgently needed support for craft businesses. At the end of 2024, 84,010 applications have already been approved, and around 1,500 new ones are added every day. This initiative introduced by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Economy supports both the companies and households and, according to Labor Minister Martin Kocher, shows how important this program is. The average funding height of the craftsman bonus is around 780 euros per approved application. Particularly popular services come from the areas of carpentry, painting work as well as gas and sanitary technology. Hermann's Talowski, chairman of the business and craft division, emphasized the importance of the bonus for the economy: "It was really a very strong economic -supporting measure". The funding pot comprises a total of 100 million euros for 2025. By the end of February, the higher funding rates of up to 2,000 euros per person and residential unit apply. The rapid processing of applications by the federal accounting agency ensures that the program's homepage was deliberately kept simple in order to make the application easier for citizens.
