Anna Strigl: From a reality format to the dance stage – a new path!
The Ötztal influencer Anna Strigl is ready to show her skills at “Dancing Stars” in March. In an interview with “Krone”, the 28-year-old said that she expected a more positive TV experience than in the past. Strigl, who has appeared on several reality shows, has learned valuable lessons from her first TV experience, where she faced sexual abstinence on a dome show. She found that the show, which competed for a grand prize of €200,000, was highly sexualized and focused heavily on physical appearance. “I actually wouldn’t take part there anymore!” she declared firmly.
Career path and influence
The influencer, who describes herself as vegan and polyamorous, has traveled a remarkable path from being a strange girl in conservative Ötztal to being a Tiktok star with two million followers. In “Breakfast with Me” she revealed how the internet served as a lifeline for her. “I used to often feel alone,” remembers Strigl. Her authenticity and dedication to hard work pays off as she produces an average of three videos per day. It takes her between one and five hours to make a TikTok video. Her community, mostly made up of teenagers between the ages of twelve and twenty, often seek her advice regarding mental health issues, which shows the influence she has on her followers.
Strigl, who is also known for her polyamorous relationship with Stella Stegmann from the reality show “Too Hot to Handle,” speaks openly about Generation Z stereotypes. “The majority of my fan community are between the ages of twelve and twenty, and I deal with them a lot,” she emphasizes, describing that many of her fans are more likely to talk to her about personal challenges than to their parents. This openness connects her with her fan base and underlines her role as an exemplary figure in the modern, digital world, as was also discussed in the podcast on Hitradio Ö3.
