The accident occurred around 12:15 p.m. on Friday afternoon, December 20th. The 14-year-old ignited a vortex of ground fire that caused dangerous burns to the young victim's neck and shoulder area. The boy was immediately flown to the hospital in a rescue helicopter, where doctors diagnosed him with second-degree burns News Today reported.
