Magdeburg, Deutschland - The 1. FC Magdeburg has again been committed to social projects in the region. The Association of Tierischen Recovered e.V. The donations benefit the school sponsor Ronja, who will work in classrooms in the new school year. The aim is to support the students in their development. In addition, the 1. FC Magdeburg supports the association Doctors of the World e.V., which operates an Open.med practice in Magdeburg. This practice is aimed at people with limited access to the health system. It was opened in November 2024 and is part of a network in Germany that will offer free basic medical care and social advice from spring 2025.

The target group of Open.med practice includes EU citizens without social insured work, homeless people and refugees without a secure residence status. The donations are to be used to implement a barrier -free ramp for practice. Furthermore, the 1st FC Magdeburg is also committed to the Association for Criminal Care and Provest Aid. The support applies to the project of anti-violence training, which has been successfully carried out for over ten years.

This training is aimed at people -free people and is based on the Magdeburg model. It includes modules that are tailored to the individual needs of the participants, with the main objectives of behavioral change, self -reflection and prevention. The financial support of the association is used to cover the space costs and the equipment of the training.
