Great joy in the Swedish royal family: Prince Carl Philip (45) and Princess Sofia (40) welcomed their daughter Ines Marie Lilian Silvia, Duchess of Västerbotten, on February 7, 2025. Ines Marie is the ninth grandchild of King Carl XVI. Gustaf (78) and Queen Silvia (81) and already has three big brothers: Prince Alexander (8), Gabriel (7) and Julian (3). On Monday, the family celebrated the arrival of the new family member at a thanksgiving service. The royal family is looking forward to this positive turn of events, as Carl Philip and Sofia's daughter represents a connection to one of Sweden's most famous families.
