In Stattersdorf, around 40 dedicated star singers set out to bring the blessing of the Christ child to households. Over three days, the children went from door to door, dressed in magnificent robes and shining crowns, to write the traditional blessing sign “C + M + B” (Christus mansionem benedicat – Christ bless this house) on the doors. This annual campaign is not only about blessings, but also solidarity, as the donations collected this year will be used specifically for children in Nepal, like the NÖN.at reported.
A matter of the heart for the star singers
The children, including Chiara and Lennox Weigel as well as Julian Haberl and Marie Schmidberger, collect donations in their cheerful way to help needy children in Nepal. This mission not only brings the blessings of Christ into homes, but also raises awareness of the needs of children in other parts of the world.
