In a delicious experiment, radio presenter Mario Batka from 88.6 has launched an ingenious new creation: the schnitzel chocolate! A few days ago the idea was born to transform the classic ingredients of a Wiener Schnitzel into a tasty praline. With the support of Zotter, one of the most renowned chocolate manufacturers, the innovative creation “Schnitzel with rice and fries à la Batka” is now officially available. Batka explains: “But I quickly reached my limits in my own kitchen, so I turned to the experts at Zotter.” Together they developed a very special Biofekt praline that even goes beyond the classic schnitzel ingredients.
An unexpected combination
The schnitzel praline combines ingredients such as roasted pork gram, which symbolizes the schnitzel, with caramelized butter crumbs, which represent the breading. These are refined with a coating of cranberry couverture and garnished with white chocolate and green cocoa butter. And what about that? Fries made from salted potato chips covered in milk chocolate and a white chocolate egg made from rice and coconut couverture. Julia Zotter, the junior manager, emphasizes with a wink: “Please only order ketchup separately!” Together they have created a creation that is already very well received in Zotter's online shop, and demand is increasing rapidly. “We have to go into post-production,” says Julia Zotter enthusiastically.
The Schnitzel chocolate comes as an answer to the current hype surrounding the so-called Dubai chocolate, which is known for its extravagant fillings. Mario Batka is determined to steal the international trend with his own creation. "I have probably achieved my goal. I will now be famous and rich because I am convinced that my 'schnitzel chocolates' will be a worldwide hit," says Batka. While the gourmet world is startled by its sweet caterpillar, it remains to be seen whether the schnitzel praline can generate the same hype as its Dubai competitors.
The exciting product “Schnitzel with rice and fries à la Batka” is now available in the Zotter online shop, and the expectations of its success are enormous. This could be the start of a delicious revolution in the world of sweets, according to VOL.AT and Today.at reported.
