This nativity scene is considered a true work of art and was completed in 1913. Thanks to an extensive restoration that was necessary to combat the work of art's transience, over 80 figures can now be admired in new splendor. The nativity scene can be visited daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Linz's Mariendom until December 23rd. The presentation varies: The Holy Family will not be seen in the nativity scene until December 24th, while from January 6th the wise men from the Orient with their magnificent crowds of animals will complement the scene.
