HPV Awareness Day: Art campaign provides information about dangerous viruses!
On the occasion of the International HPV Awareness Day, MSD organizes an exciting event on the Herbert-von-Karajan-Platz, the central location in Vienna on March 4, 2025. This day is all about clarification of the human papilloma viruses, which can trigger dangerous diseases. In collaboration with the artistic collective Ringelreih, led by the renowned artist Farshido Larimian and the designer Arya Akhoundzadeh, an impressive AWareness object is presented. This art installation aims to inform the public about the risks of HPV, such as Oots.at reported .
At the event, not only art is shown, but also a valuable note is given: the last opportunity for free HPV vaccination for all 21 to 30 year olds. Experts and prominent supporters will be present to emphasize the urgency of this health theme. The event starts at 2:00 p.m. and promises an informative and impressive experience for everyone present. In addition, the whole thing takes place directly in front of the impressive backdrop of the Vienna State Opera, which forms the framework for this important initiative. Location details for the square, as well as the exact description of the journey can be viewed on the website Historywiki.wien.gv.at
Due to this creative fusion of art and enlightenment, the event will not only be a must-see for art lovers, but also an important opportunity for young people to find out about the health risks of HPV and to use the free vaccination offer. This begins an important discussion about prevention and education, which is also supported by the creative voices in the Viennese art scene.
