Coca-Cola Inclusion Run: Together for a strong sign of inclusion!

The Coca-Cola Inclusion Run will start on April 5th at 3 p.m. at the town hall in Vienna. Together with Mayor Michael Ludwig, City Councilor Peter Hacker and Special Olympics President Laurenz Maresch, this inclusive running event will be opened as part of the 42nd Vienna City Marathon. The event, which is now celebrating its eighth edition, sets a strong example for inclusion and brings together people with and without disabilities and from different cultures. All proceeds from the run go towards supporting Special Olympics Austria the Crown reported.

This year the run starts two weeks earlier than usual, which promises additional anticipation. From Gabi Hiller to Matthias Göth, numerous prominent and sporting personalities have agreed to run for a good cause. “This event is of particular importance to us because it creates a great sign of open and peaceful coexistence,” emphasizes Petra Burger, Public Affairs Director at Coca-Cola Austria. The registration options are still open and can be done on the Vienna City Marathon website until shortly before the event.
