SK Rapid Wien can look forward to good news for its fans: goalkeeper Paul Gartler has extended his contract with the Hütteldorfers by two more years until 2027. The 28-year-old, who has been playing for the club since 2012, will enter his seventh professional season next summer. Gartler has already played in goal behind regular goalkeeper Niklas Hedl twice this season and has made a total of 48 appearances for the first team. “He is not only an important part of our professional team, but also an exemplary leader for the young talents,” said Markus Katzer, Sports Director at SK Rapid.
