KAC strikes back: 4-2 win in the semi-final against Linz!

In an exciting match in the win2day ICE Hockey League, the KAC equalized in the semi-final series against the Black Wings Linz. After the narrow defeat in Game 1, the Red Jackets from Klagenfurt managed a convincing 4-2 away win in Upper Austria, which brought the home advantage back to Klagenfurt, as reported Laola1. The KAC showed an excellent recovery from the first game, in which they faced an early deficit. The first goal for Linz came in the fifth minute when Klagenfurt's Niklas Würschl put the puck into the net.

But the red jackets were not discouraged. Just a few minutes later, Raphael Herburger provided an immediate answer with a backhand goal, and Finn van Ee turned the game around with another goal in the tenth minute. The pressure remained high in the second third, with Herburger scoring again and extending the KAC's lead to 3-1. Despite a response from Linz through Roe, who reduced the score to 3:2, the KAC held its nerve and finally achieved the final score of 4:2 and the equalizer in the series with Matthias From's goal into the empty goal the crown reported. The KAC can therefore go into the next game on Sunday with new self-confidence.
