Thomas Gottschalk surprises at the Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights!

On Saturday evening, November 30th, the “Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights” will light up the screens again! A very special guest will be there: the legendary Thomas Gottschalk (74), known from “Wetten,dass..?”. But what does the TV star have to do with Florian Silbereisen's (43) musical show? The tension is rising!

Spectators can look forward to a spectacular line-up! There will be pop stars like Andrea Berg (58), Andy Borg (64), DJ Ötzi (53), Ella Finally (40), Ross Antony (50) and Semino Rossi (62), who will create a festive atmosphere. But Gottschalk won't appear as a singer - that would be too easy! Instead, he will take on the role of a storyteller and read from the Christmas book, a tradition that has existed at the Advent festival for 15 years. “Similar to Mario Adorf and Hannelore Elsner, I will read something from the Christmas book,” he reveals in an interview with bild.de.

The appearance of the former “Wetten,dass..?” presenter comes as a surprise to many. “The real Christmas miracle is my appearance at Florian, whose 100,000 little lights I have always made fun of,” admits Gottschalk. He himself never thought that he would be part of this festive event.
