Shock in Cologne: Reiner Calmund is struggling with heart problems in the TV studio!
During the filming of the Vox show “Grill den Henssler” there was a worrying incident with the well-known ex-football manager Reiner Calmund. On December 4th, the 76-year-old complained of dizzy spells, which ultimately led to him having to stop recording. An emergency doctor immediately took him to Cologne's St. Vinzenz Hospital, where he was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and a cardiac arrhythmia. Although this moment of shock was alarming, Calmund was able to give the all-clear after about 24 hours in the hospital. He is now back home with his family, like the Cologne native Express reported.
After the incident, Calmund decided not to take part in the remaining days of filming. He will be replaced for the final three planned episodes, which will now continue with rotating judges. In order to fully recover, he also took a month-long vacation without appointments to recover from the stressful filming and the health situation. In a message to his fans, he shrugged his shoulders and explained that he was fine and would now take care of himself. For this, he thanked the show's team and the medical staff for the quick and professional help during his health crisis, according to reporting by Today.at.
The “Grill den Henssler” show will continue, but without Calmund, whose place will be temporarily taken by fashion expert Bruce Darnell, who will sit next to regular jurors Jana Ina Zarrella and Christian Rach. This incident has touched the hearts of many viewers and his return is eagerly awaited once he is ready again.
