Sarah Connor and Rudi Schöller: An evening full of emotions on ORF!
On May 27, 2025, the new show “DIE.NACHT” will celebrate its premiere at 9:55 p.m. on ORF 1 and is already available on ORF ON. The show is moderated by Stermann and Grissemann, who are known for their entertaining and charming interviews. The first guests include the popular singer Sarah Connor and the well-known cabaret artist Rudi Schöller, both of whom can be seen on Tuesday evening. Every week, viewers can look forward to a highlight, which will be broadcast from June 17th at around 10 p.m.
Sarah Connor will present her new album “Freigeistin” on the show and discuss topics such as maternal feelings, long marriages and modern relationship models. Rudi Schöller, who most viewers will know from the comedy format “Wir sind Kaiser”, will appear in the talk with Stermann and Grissemann and tell stories from his “Pension Schöller”, a podcast format that he inherited from his aunt. Schöller also has a new solo program entitled “There is only one Rudi Schöller”.
Fun mix and more content
In addition to the conversations, viewers will also be entertained with other content such as the “Science Busters” at 10:50 p.m. and “Reiseckers Reisen”, which will explore the Karwendel in Tyrol. A special mention also goes to Grissemann's extraordinary ability to turn water into wine, as well as the entertaining TV moments of “Maschek”. The show promises entertainment for the entire family, as TV.ORF emphasizes.
With “Welcome Austria”, the ORF is one of the most popular late night shows in German-speaking countries. The channel offers an extensive program that includes films, series, cabaret and quiz shows to entertain and engage viewers. In 2024, ORF recorded high viewership numbers, including for the “million show” with 3.734 million viewers.
Viewers can also look forward to Sarah Connor's performance with the Tuesday Night Band, which is scheduled to be the closing number of the show. When it comes to respectful and entertaining content, the ORF is committed not to present formats that contain voyeuristic exploitation, as the audience can find out through ORF.
